The Rising Volteccers arrive in Kitakami to meet Briar but find Suiryoku Town deserted due to a harvest festival. At the festival, Roy and Achigator accidentally switch bodies using a mysterious device, trying to keep their situation a secret from the others. The group navigates the festival and helps others along the way. After restoring their bodies, Seille reveals that Briar is her teacher and is currently at the Illuminating Pool, which is where the group decides to head next.
