As a child, Raiden had to suppress his full strength so he would not hurt other people. He became a sumo wrestler to earn money for his starving village, but never had the chance to fight with his full strength. Raiden unleashes a palm strike so powerful that it slices off two of Shiva's arms when he tries to block it, leaving him with one functioning arm left. However, Raiden's muscles are damaged by the strain of pushing them so hard. Shiva is amazed to see Rudra in the audience, having not seen him in millennia, and is inspired to do his best. He starts using up his own life force to power himself, turning red as his body burns.
