Jack uses his gloves' power on his own blood and uses it to fatally impale Hercules. Hercules uses his final moments to embrace Jack, declare his platonic love for Jack and humanity, and urge humanity not to give up. Hlökk returns to normal, teaches Jack that he is feeling sad for Hercules' demise as he was the first person besides Anne to show him real love, and leaves. As Jack limps out of the arena, the gods angrily pelt him with rocks while the humans except Anne refuse to cheer for his victory...
