Takashi builds a flowerbed for Touko and Shigeru, but it is torn up every night. Staking out the site, Takashi and Nyanko-sensei find that the culprit is a quintet of yōkai who force Takashi to repair their treasured box garden until their revered yōkai goddess Princess Shida returns. Despite his lack of dexterity, Takashi manages to do an exceptional job in cleaning the miniature mansion, and he and Nanyko-Sensei are shrunk down to enjoy the celebratory banquet with Princess Shida and her overjoyed retainers. A sakura petal stays in Takashi's hair, which is noticed by Touko who thinks it is beautiful and wonders where it came from.
