He suddenly draws his sword, but this time Thorfinn reacts and blocks Snake with a powerful kick, revealing that he still has a will to live. Arnheid tells Pater about the incident, and he treats Thorfinn's wounds, but Thorfinn immediately heads back into the woods to continue tree felling. When Einar asks if he has been to war, Thorfinn replies he has been at war since he was a child, and killed more people than he can remember...
