Episode Description:
While Kenshin tries to save Hiko's life, Shishio's Ten Swords join him in his hideout with the exception of the arrested Cho. Shishio promises all his servants they will overthrow the Meiji Government they all hate and create their own era. As all of his men react proud, Sojiro visits Aoshi to inform him that he discovered that Okina survived to their previous fight which the former Oniwaban ignores and instead asks Sojiro what is his true desire. As this happens, Hiko recovers telling Kenshin the only reason of his survival was how a part from the sakabatō lack being properly used which absorbed the damage of the ogi. Although Kenshin denies becoming his successor, he still requests his master to protect the Aoiya where his friends are while he faces Shishio's forces.
