Episode Description:
After rescuing Latias and Latios and saying goodbye from them, Misty and Brock both leave the group and return to their respective hometowns. Ash returns to Pallet Town for a few days and runs into Gary, who congratulates him for winning the World Coronation Series and asks him how much closer he is to becoming a Pokémon Master now that he is World Champion. While Ash thinks about this question, Gary simply smiles and bids him goodbye. Meanwhile, the Team Rocket trio, reconciling following their argument, reunites and attempts to steal Pikachu again, only to have their plans foiled by Ash's Pidgeot, who was released by Ash before traveling to Valencia Island...
