The DigiDestined then learn more about their upcoming new mission to acquire the secrets of their crests, while fending off a Burpmon seeking to devour the tree. They then proceed to feed Burpmon with the junk data scattered around, with their partner Digimon launching an all-out attack on their enemy blasting it to pieces, resulting in all of the data scattering around anew. As a result of the battle, Izzy decides to stay behind to help Garbagemon recover the rescattered data, whereas the others proceed on their journey to solve the mystery of their crests.
