Long ago, Westcott, Woodman, Ellen and Karen lived together in a remote village populated by mages. Back when he was a child, Isaac's mother died but Isaac himself did not feel grief. Instead, he was pleased and thus realized he enjoyed other people's suffering and worked really hard to keep his dark feelings hidden. The village of mages was burned to the ground by people who feared the power of magic, so Isaac convinced his friends to join him into creating a world full of mages as the best way to avenge their community. Isaac's friends agreed, Ellen and Karen because they wanted to avenge their family and Elliot because he thought a society of mages would be the best way to protect themselves...
