Jake's life is thrown into chaos when he accidentally start a relationship between Grandpa and his principal, Ms. Decerto. Meanwhile, a ferocious, shape-shifting beast name Kelpie is preying on magical creatures, and Jake began to suspects that his school principal is the creature after some incident happen. But then he found out that Ms. Decerto was actually a mermaid and she was undercover to investigate the Kelpie too. And together with Trixie & Spud, they caught the Kelpie but then unfortunately, Ms. Decerto will have to leave New York City for another mission and she say goodbye to Grandpa. And from that day, Professor Rotwood became the new principial of the school.
