Kiyoka, Ookaito and Kazushi are given an audience with Prince Takaihito who reveals that the imperial capital will be invaded by the Grotesqueries. Soon after, Takaihito congratulates Kiyoka on his engagement with Miyo but gives him an ominous message. Meanwhile, Miyo learns the Western etiquettes for the upcoming party with Hazuki but she begins to have nightmares and headaches that severely impact her daily life and her lessons. As Kiyoka worries about Miyo, he sends Iwashimizu to gather information on the Usuba family...
