A god from the capital visits the farm, but the humans can't understand him. They learn that someone has been altering Sakuna's rice into a dangerous product, who is suspected to be Kokorowa. Sakuna is unable to believe this, but Tama warns her that Kokorowa could get punished for her actions and that the same thing will also happen to Sakuna if she returns to the capital uninvited. The god helps Sakuna and Tama sneak back into the capital despite Tama's concerns...
