Ai cuts through the dark orb as Shy prepares to lead her team through the infiltration mission. Inside, the city is dark and desolate with those trapped within turned into dark, lifeless, wandering shadows, whose hearts are being depleted by Utsuro. Doki drops in and charges at the heroes, in order to kidnap Ai and take her atop the tower, but his aloofness causes his plan to fail, as the heroes were already en route to said location. Being smitten with Lady Black for calling him "cute", Doki agrees to escort the heroes to the tower...
