Yoshino voluntarily becomes the Warabiya villagers' hostage since she wants to help them get their bus service back as well. Eventually, the villagers turn their town into the "Republic of Warabiya", and begin gaining fans and support from Manoyama. Sanae confronts the Professor, who explains that he doesn't expect the village's withdrawal to succeed in restoring the bus service, but he did want to make Manoyama aware of Warabiya's issues...
