Spring has come in Vienna and Sissi is counting down the days until her marriage to Franz. Empress Sophie seems to have come to terms with her unwanted daughter-in-law. She proudly shows Sissi the imperial diadem that the princess is supposed to wear at the wedding. But there are still opponents who want to prevent the wedding at all costs. Helene, too, who is only too happy to marry Franz, uses every opportunity for intrigue. A comment from Franz is just right for her: Out of superstition, Sissi doesn't want the groom to see her wedding dress before the wedding.
