Due to Carl and his friends' uncertainty about Dylan due to an incident at school and rumors told by Nico, they attempt to retrieve the leaf without Dylan noticing. Eventually, Dylan retreats to his home. When Carl and Lotta visit, Dylan reveals that he wanted to hang out with them and was nervous due to being in a bigger school. Carl retrieves the gingko leaf as Dylan teaches his friends how to roll.
