Brigan went mad so Gillin killed him. He also claimed he had killed the griffin and fed Senshi its flesh to keep him alive. Gillin then left, suggesting the flesh was Brigan's. Senshi escaped the dungeon but his guilt drove him to begin hunting monsters. After finally eating the griffin, Senshi does not recognize the taste.
