Headmaster Crane knows if it gets too close to the Sun’s gravity, the probe and all its collected research will be lost forever, so he assigns Eagle, Robyn and Hawk to intercept it and guide it safely back to Earth. The problem is, Eagle has a faulty heat shield that must be repaired, so at the 11th hour he’s scrubbed from the mission – leaving Hawk and Robyn to take off without their usual leader.
