Pochita jumps on her and steers her into the swimming pool, making the dogs give up. Inukai catches up to them and is angry that the two were spending time together, and gets angrier when he ogles Nekotani changing out of her wet clothes. Inukai is disappointed in her paper chain, but he gets some paint and puts paw prints on it, which impresses the class. He starts to lose his resolve to be human again, worried that Inukai will fall to despair if her new Pochita disappears...
