Lumpy Space Prince eventually meets Fionna (voiced by Madeleine Martin) and Cake (voiced by Roz Ryan) and tries to learn their simpler ways of life. Eventually, he is able to overcome the power of his parents by "not caring", saving the day and winning the hearts of both Fionna and Cake.
