Hotshot and the other Transformers attack Unicron once more. Optimus Prime and Galvatron fight to the death. It ended only after Galvatron makes a heroic sacrifice to destroy Unicron. After the battle, Rad, Carlos, Alexis, Billy and Fred are returned to Earth. A charred Optimus Prime is seen floating through space. At the very end the remains of Unicron drift through space, showing the war is not over.
