Meanwhile, Frankie meets her three-headed neighbor, Mrs. Argolis, who has a habit of belittling people. She tries to befriend them over coffee, but Elliott's new pet suddenly increases in size and soon flees with their neighbor in its grasp, resulting in Elliott and Frankie having to rescue her. Elliott eventually realizes that the pet appears to feed on others' negativity and grows as a result, and convinces Mrs. Argolis to try being nice so that it shrinks back down to its regular docile size. Afterward, Mrs. Argolis continues to be a bit kinder to the two of them, suggesting they could visit and share another coffee sometime soon.
