Shino defends the Wonder Killer form of her cult's leader, and, defeated, Rika questions her existence, allowing the Wonder Killer to attack her. However, she is protected by her Pomander, Mannen, and becomes motivated from its support as well as her friends. Rika defeats the Wonder Killer and comes to terms about her birth, admitting to her mother that she will leave her when the time is right.
