Elsewhere, Nanami convenes with Maki and Naobito, informing them of Gojo's concealment. They encounter the cursed spirit Dagon, who reveals itself to have been a curse womb, evolving to a significantly stronger state. Naobito uses his cursed technique, Projection Sorcery, to put up a good fight, until Dagon activates his Domain Expansion, trapping the three in his Domain. Nanami and Naobito are consumed by a hoard of shikigami, while Maki barely avoids it. Megumi enters the Domain and starts a domain clash in an effort to keep Dagon distracted. Nanami and Naobito survive their pile-ups, and Megumi reveals he's discovered the exit to the Domain, which they are about to use to escape. However, before they can, Toji suddenly emerges through the passage.
