The next day, Theodore, Foduck, and Emily are assigned to take the old wreck and push it to the junk dock where George is hiding. Theodore realizes that George will be crushed. Theodore wants to keep George's secret, but doesn't want him to get hurt. Theodore shouts that George is hiding behind the barge and saves him. George decides to face his fears and goes to his hull check-up, and realizes that check-ups are meant to help, not hurt.
