Ranger Smith is reading a book about hypnotism to pass his time. He needs someone to practice on and his friend Bill suggests using a bear. He calls Yogi to his office and gives it a try. Yogi sees the hypnotism book and plays along so he can scam food from Ranger Smith. Yogi then tries some hypnotism of his own on Boo Boo with disastrous results.
