Pharaoh Merenre plans a journey through his kingdom to learn more about the wishes and concerns of his people. Ratofer advises him not to, as the evil Seth has hatched another plan to wrest power from Merenre. But the ruler is undeterred. In fact, Seth manages to manipulate the robber princess Tiya with a ring given to her. She is supposed to sneak into Merenre's bedchamber on the journey and kill the pharaoh. Papyrus, meanwhile, has set out to free the goddess Nebu from Seth's hold. Will he be back in time to protect Merenre?
