Two years have passed within Kiki's id well, with Narihisago spending this time leading three other serial killers to commit suicide and trying to investigate John Walker. While visiting the hospital one day, Narihisago and Momoki find Kiki's mind being researched by Nishio Shirakoma, the creator of the Mizuhanome System, however Narihisago does not recognize him. Kiki's health has deteriorated over time, and she theorizes her body will disintegrate and fuse with reality, warping the structure of the world. She begs Narihisago to kill her, but he strongly refuses and stops visiting her...
