While Taihei works overnight, Umaru takes the opportunity to do all things she normally had. That weekend, Umaru and Nana clean the garden behind their apartment block. Later, Umaru and Sylphynford play soccer, who she had been coaching as UMR. Despite losing against Umaru's team, Sylphynford is praised by her team for the advice she received from UMR. Afterwards, Umaru manages to work up the courage to initiate conversations with her friends.
