In the week following Shiki's death, Drakken confines the traumatized Rebecca to extract her Ether Gear, "Cat Leaper", once it fully activates. When she tearfully wishes to see her friends again, her Ether Gear suddenly sends her falling into her infirmary bed aboard Edens Zero, where Shiki is alive and the rest of the crew are unharmed. Rebecca believes the past week to have been a dream, but after she learns about and stops her friends from disembarking to the Belial Gore as before, it becomes apparent to the crew that she has made a time leap to the past with her Ether Gear...
