Copping an Aptitude: Dexter's school and parents decide to send him to college. He ignores his fellow students, who prefer to "party now, study later", until his mind finally snaps from the workload.
A Failed Lab Experiment: When Dexter's new device, made to help him see through solid objects, fails to work as expected, he ends up seeing through people's clothes, which puts him in an uncomfortable situation.
The Grand-Daddy of All Inventions: During a trip to his grandfather's house, Dexter learns that the outwardly boring old man has a lab just like his own.
