Usato's training is easier than he imagines at first, but gets progressively more difficult. Rose proves every bit the brutal teacher he expected, but his magic begins to manifest after a few days. After nearly two weeks, Rose finally tells him why he's training his body and not his magic: he needs to be able to outrun the enemy and rescue injured allies quickly...
