Beneath the harsh sands of the Iraqi border, a lone warrior fights for his sanity. But when the struggle seeps into the waking world, blood will be spilt. Hassan returns to the bunker with supplies, but finds Oran in a state of near insanity. Oran lashes out against his dear friend, not knowing who he is. When at last he snaps out of it, he realizes what he has done. He checks to see that his friend is still alive, and then borrows his jeep to begin his journey.
