Rizu decides to visit a salon owned by the eccentric Ms. Karasuma who, after learning Rizu is meeting a boy, changes Rizu's hair, eyelashes, makeup and clothes. Nariyuki doesn't recognise her when she sits next to him so he thinks she is a stranger trying to flirt with him, while his reaction makes Rizu think her makeover has improved their relationship. Nariyuki asks about the book she is studying, The Changelings and her confusion reminds him of Rizu, whom he admits he finds cute. Rizu asks his opinion of her new look...
